3 Steps to becoming your own hype woman!

Once upon a time I lacked confidence, constantly feeling as if I needed to look and be a certain way. I later learned that in embracing my flaws, unique ways and blossoming personality, confidence would soon sprout.

I won’t lie I was guilty when it came to admiring the looks and lives of others, thinking to myself like “why can’t that be me?” Well I learned I am not created to be anyone else or live the life meant for someone else.

The beauty in our individuality is that through walking out our purpose, the life we hoped to have is usually far better than what we thought. It’s honestly about embracing who we are.

My clients are women who have surrendered to their limiting beliefs and the lies they’ve latched onto but want to be free, but confident and free.

So how do you become more confident? I’m so freakin happy you asked!

NUMBER 01

Celebrate yourself first- we all have those friends that hype us up when our song comes on. Well what happens when that friend isn’t around? When you’re all alone, can you look in the mirror and speak kind words to yourself, dance out of a bad mood or be happy where you currently are in life? No? Well if you can’t, change it. When you’re feeling down or sad, don’t sit in it girl, pull yourself out of that space.

NUMBER O2

Speak nicely to yourself- words mean things! It’s so easy to not pay attention to what we say but it’s important. Think about the kind of woman you want to be, create affirmations around that. You might have to be on your Being Mary Jane tip where you post sticky notes everywhere. Speak it so much until you believe it.

NUMBER O3

Define confidence for yourself- have you ever stopped to ask yourself, what does confidence mean to me? How can you want something but you don’t know what it is? It doesn’t matter how big or small, whatever confidence means to you, create that for yourself. You’ll begin to see a little extra happiness in your day or a little more spice in your walk.

Remember you have the power to change your life, most of the time it’s little changes that create big impact.

You can do it, so as Nike says “just do it.”
